Ahmed began his career in broadcast TV in 2006 as an editor and camera operator with Baghdad TV in Jordan. After moving to the UK he studied filmmaking at Kingston University and gained both a BA and MA degree this further established his skills as a videographer and editor.
Fluent in Arabic and English, he has worked with several media organisations nationally and internationally, such as Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, Sharqa TV, Al-Khalij TV and MBC, and is able to shoot and direct his own documentaries. His passion for filmmaking drives his continuous enthusiasm to explore new styles and technique to produce exciting films such as EMAD’S JOURNEY and A WALK WITH DAIRO.
